Is it impossible that the show comes back under Hasbro one day? No, but it's very, very unlikely.

Starting to wonder if they've abandoned the Jonathan Entwistle Reboot, which was stuck in development hell. If that was the "Big Thing" they had planned and they've decided to walk away from it, then they're probably at a standstill with the franchise.

Based on that, I see five separate possibilities:

Option 1): Continue to adapt Sentai to maintain life in the franchise, regardless of the opinion of Sentai purists.

Option 2): Produce an animated show based on established canon, which could serve to answer long-standing questions and retcon continuity errors. This could be an anthology show or a completely new team with Sentai-like inspirations.

Option 3): Produce a movie franchise, be it based on established show canon or the 2017 Lionsgate Movie or a completely separate continuity.

Option 4): Produce a separate live-action reboot show that isn't connected to the Entwistle Reboot.

Option 5): Make the difficult decision to sell the franchise to a prospective buyer. Also part-and-parcel with someone who makes Hasbro an offer when they aren't actively looking to sell, but they opt to commit cause it makes "good business sense".
