I think thats an extremely flimsy argument when even in the press release it says playmates will roll out with new mmpr toys in 2025. More than likely a reboot of sorts is planned for next year and these are toys to go along with it. I doubt that hasbro would do anything with pr, let alone contract the license to playmates if they were letting the franchise die. A partnership is a big move, so they must have something planned involving mmpr if thats their starting point.
