Well MMPR doesn't really scream reboot tbh, it's just familiarity.

MMPR was the height of 90's popularity and mainstream, there's a reason it's gotten so much push. It's because of the current climate of business. You've got to make higher and higher amounts of money. So to people in the toy business they assume only MMPR can do that because that was the brand at it's most mainstream.

Which basically runs counter to the argument earlier of "Well Hasbro should just do their own thing to move on and not rely on the Sentai". How do you expect them to move on when the big money maker is MMPR which is tied to Zyuranger?

Will say this is an interesting move and I'm curiously optimistic on the future. But it very much is telling that well... Hasbro really had no idea on what to do with the brand. They've only really had two series to their name which were handled oddly in some aspects, have been spinning their wheels on that one rumored reboot, and the toys have been lacking in a couple of aspects despite some fun parts.
