I am definitely of the opinion that this means that, at the least, Sentai adaptations are over.

I think Hasbro wants to associate as little as possible with the Sentai for some reason (it could be business partner conflicts or them just wanting to try and do their own thing, which I think Cosmic Fury points towards), which is a problem because the entire reason Power Rangers works is that the half of the show is already done for you.

If the reboot has been put on hold or abandoned, it’s likely (in my opinion) because they’ve realized it would cost too much for the likely financial returns on a brand that has been waning in popularity for over two decades.

I didn’t really watch Power Rangers much anymore, but I always really loved seeing how they adapted the stories and used the costumes (and obviously the terrible names they gave the monsters), so this happening is kind of depressing even if I saw it coming a mile away. Something like Cosmic Fury isn’t interesting to me because it’s not really an adaptation, it’s just something new with mech fights from Kyuranger and worse production values, so a full reboot isn’t going to get the interest of someone like me either.
