This show is great so far. I like how there’s real conflict between the Boonboomgers over this, and I feel like it isn’t going to be solved too easily. Maybe ignored for a while, but it will probably come up again.

Also the villains are great. Mad Rex is an incredibly strong first general, and I’m pretty glad he doesn’t have the generic first general personality. He’s hot headed and short tempered in a way that manifests in a more “fast” demeanour than with similar generals, he’s funny while being an entirely serious and credible threat, and his fights have been top notch. He’s definitely dead next episode, but if the upcoming villains are this level of quality, I’m very excited to see them.

And obviously this episode is pushing things in the direction of Decotrade, Itasha, and Yaiyarucar not actually being antagonists. Sentai villains never show compassion for each other unless it’s plot important.
