May not be Playmates-related news, but it is funny how we're getting so many question-raising announcements after a particularly arduous dry spell. Oh, well. At least Playmates will have at least eight years of comic material to work with cause despite the efforts of the Lightning Collection, neither Bandai of America nor Hasbro really took full advantage of the comic-related designs.

Then again, Saban and Bandai never did much in the way of cross-promotion with the comics of the '90s either! At least not enough for me to remember anyway, save for a Turbo Movie comic I lost years ago.
