Saigetsu was transformed by the Hundred Superiors aka the talking octahedrons into a giant, Ark-satellite-shaped time bomb named Doom's Clock. The octahedrons' logic is basically "if I can't have it, then I destroy it". They can't get their hands on the DX Legend Kamen Riser, so they decide to destroy it along with Kaguya/KR Legend, Houtarou, and everything in Houtarou's world. The Doom's Clock is actually Hundred's WMD that was once used to destroy Kaguya's world, as recounted by Butler aka Mr. Infodump Dealer.
In the scene @ 05:47, Gigist visits the place where Saigetsu was transformed into a time bomb and
conveniently
finds the DX Ark-One Progrise Key, which he uses to revive Saigetsu. This is weird. If the dead Saigetsu was already transformed by the octahedrons into a Doom's Clock at the end of episode 34, then who is the Saigetsu revived by Gigist in this scene? Weird! And, as I stated
here
, the writer made KR Ark-One appear and transformed into the Ark-One Malgam by Gigist simply because it's a malice-based AI.
As expected, Kaguya's reason for pushing Houtarou away and attacking him earlier in this episode is because he wants to fight Hundred alone without involving Houtarou and the others from this world. Surprise, surprise! I hypothesized last week that the appearances of 3 KR Zi-O's and 3 KR Zero-One's with 3 different forms were due to KR Legendary Legend using KR Zi-O's power to summon different forms of 1 Rider from different points in time. It turns out I was wrong. It turns out that it's simply due to KR Legendary Legend's Final Chemy Ride cards granting him the ability to summon 2 copy Riders. Everything is made easier for Kaguya/KR Legend.
The Sisters are absent in this episode. None of them appear in this episode. Not even one frame.
When Houtarou's attacked by Ark-One Malgam's meteor shower @ 15:17, he's protected by some kind of rainbow-colored barrier/aura. This is very likely a setup for the awakening of Nijigon's egg/RCC inside his body in episode 36. What does Gigist mean @ 22:45 when he sees the Nijigon egg inside Houtarou's body? Has he been searching for it? Why has he just found it in this episode, not earlier episodes? Frak it,
who
and
what
the frak is Gigist anyway? Haha. Who hid the Nijigon's egg inside Houtarou's body? His dad? Or perhaps Nijigon
is
his dad? Haha. My most outlandish, uber-convoluted conjecture is: Houtarou = Nijigon = the Alchemist of Dawn = his dad. Haha.
I hypothesized 2 weeks ago
here
that KR Legend's "arc" will end in episode 34 or 35 as the best case scenario. It turns out that it does end today in episode 35, although I'm not sure whether he won't return nor whether the damage can be reversed. The episodes that feature Kaguya/KR Legend from 32-35 can't be labeled as filler episodes, let alone crossover episodes, because they have crucial, story-breaking reveals that will ruin several characters and the integrity of story itself if they're disregarded as mere non-canon episodes. So yeah, the damage is done.
The funniest (or the dumbest?) thing in episodes 34-35 is the reveal that the place where the Hundred Superiors aka the talking octahedrons are residing is not actually Hundred's homeworld, but only another part of Tokyo, to be exact: the Aomi Minami Port Park, haha. No wonder that that place feels familiar to me, unlike Kaguya's homeworld which has been shown as a very advanced civilization. So, at the beginning and the end of episode 34 when Saigetsu traversed with the Aurora Curtain he didn't actually return to Hundred's homeworld, but merely escaped and teleported to another part of Tokyo after he was defeated by Houtarou and Kaguya. So, the talking octahedrons have actually resided in Houtarou's world since the beginning of the story? So what's the point of the female octahedron telling Saigetsu that he "returned empty handed"/"returned without bringing souvenirs"? Didn't that sentence imply that the place he returned to (aka the place the octahedrons were residing) after emerging from the Aurora Curtain was Hundred's homeworld? Ah, screw logic, rationality, and common sense! *facepalm
I sensed a similar sense of logical screwups during the KR Gotchard Daybreak "arc" in episodes 16-18. If episodes 32-35 are shill episodes for DX Legend Kamen Riser (and other DX KR Legend toys and Legend Rider cards), then episodes 16-18 were basically the shill episodes for the Daybreak Chemy Card set, and as revealed today, for the summer film as well. I didn't remember who wrote those episodes, so I looked it up and found that they were written by *drum roll* *drum roll* *drum roll*
Hiroki Uchida as well
. Well, logical blunders like these are what you're gonna get if you hire any writers from KR Outsiders.
Next week:
The first appearance of the Nijigon's egg card. And it's hidden inside Houtarou's body all along? Well, it seems like episode 36 is gonna feature several shock factors at once. I'm 95% sure the main portion of the shock factor will involve a convoluted relationship between Houtarou, his missing/manipulated memories, his (missing? dead? absent?) dad, and Nijigon Chemy/RCC's, and maybe
also
the Alchemist of Dawn, for an extra layer of convolution.
This episode is titled "The Origin of Chemies". This episode will probably elaborate on why the majority of Chemies have only existed since 120 years ago, happening almost coincidently with the defeat of the uber-demon at the hands of the Alchemist of Dawn, who immediately disappeared thereafter.
The AU's top brasses will
finally
appear again for the sake of moving the plot, after a very long period of absence. This time, they're apparently massacred by Gigist. They appear as mere tools that are used to move the plot forward. Convenient!
Like I stated 2 or 3 weeks ago, the AU/AA, the whole theme and premises about alchemy, and several other crucial aspects of Gotchard's story more and more feel like afterthoughts that are tacked on as mere icing, not the
main
ingredients. I expected to see a story about alchemy, but what I actually see is a story about magical Pokemons and very little about alchemy. Alchemy in Gotchard's story is a mere icing on the cake, not
the
cake. It's basically 95% icing and 5% cake. No wonder Gotchard's story feels hollow, vapid, and lethargic. Welcome, KR Wizard v2.0. *facepalm
