While rewatching Jungle Fury, it suddenly occurred to me that the 3 Kenma's names are anagrams of their animal spirits in Japanese.

Kata = Taka
Rageku = Kurage
Maku = Kuma

Furthermore, Maku is a syllable short of Makuro (dark black), which may refer to his mastery of Dorinki.
