So, Keitaro’s absence is because the guy who played him retired a year before this movie was announced. I’m guessing he wasn’t that eager to break his retirement so soon, so we get the nephew playing much the same role.

One thing I do like about this movie is the fact that Muez’s Predictive AI (which in the CSM toyline, all the “Next” Rider suits have) is thwarted by Old Faiz, presumably because Smart Brain felt that since the power set was obsolete, they didn’t bother keeping any detailed files on at all.

And because casting trivia is my bread and butter for the most part, our new female Orphnoch is played by Kanon Matsuzawa, who is better known for the Girls x Heroine series (a slightly lesser known Tokusatsu franchise aimed at young girls). She also appeared soon after this came out as Sena in the Romeo and Juliet two-parter in Gotchard.
