Technically no. It?s to provide goods and services to earn a profit. Not be greedy. Some companies take it too far with greed and are usually the ones that die. Look at Bandai of America. They tried to make more money at the success of Dino charge?s auxiliary zord purchases by selling each aux zord as a whole mother megazord during ninja steel. They ended up losing so much money during NS that hasbro had to save PR. Saban tried their hand at a movie to grab the nostalgia that was evident given the success of the transformers movies (even threw in a reference) that barely just broke even. Toei turns a profit by sticking to their core values and providing a product that it stands behind. They care about their properties enough to quickly satisfy toy placement contracts with BoJ early on and deliver stories that a lot of people enjoy. Even series that are ?bad? are still someone?s favorite and they respect all of the individual series as stand alone and not just ?g1? nostalgia. They recognize that every series is someone?s ?g1? and they deliver that. Hasbro is only doing to power rangers what it has done with transformers and that is extremely evident.
