Other than the three primary Riders' fights with Geryon, Sabi and Renge also participate in the fight using alchemy. They use Sabi's Dread stint experience to enhance their combat alchemy. I expected alchemists to be more active in fights due to the extent of what they can create, even as non-Riders, to be honest.

Geryon's goal is simply to turn everything into gold, even if it would petrify all living beings. Geryon's early demise, in my opinion, is unexpected. It reminds me of Orteca's fate, where after the main Rider gains their penultimate form, the sadistic scientist-type villain who would stop at nothing to achieve their goals gets consumed by the bigger threat they supported (Giff, Door of Darkness).

As usual, others' dismissal of Chemies as tools is proven wrong again when Chemies resist the temptation of darkness that Geryon presents and instead support Houtaro to help him obtain Platinum Gotchard.

Minato finally returns to the main cast after their vow last episode and Kyoka's talk. While Minato always meant well, he was ruled by his fear against Geryon and made a rather cowardly decision to hinder the students by pretending to join Geryon as his mole.
