It feels like a surprisingly nice modern take on old school super sentai, I think? Said it before but I think if the ending is considered satisfactory at the least the show could be a good entry show for those who want to get into super sentai but don't wanna watch the older shows. Off topic, given the fact that the director has worked on the Pokemon anime prior to this I can't help but see the Team Rocket trio whenever I see the villain lackeys.
