Because really? I had alot of fun with this pilot. The Naga Kai suit is really cool, and I love the card gimmick. And from what little we see of him, Furio seems like a likable lead hero.

Yeah, the basics are all there for a decent first episode and I would've been interested to see where it could've gone. Sucks to see potential go to waste.
