Around 30 episodes before this point, there was an episode of this show directed by Satoshi Morota that involved Eiji and Ankh splashing around in water while working out their feelings, but the version of it we get in 46 is definitely the one I think of more often. Like, that "thank you" from Eiji in particular is maybe one of the single most memorable things in the whole series to me -- one of those things that's stuck with me even from all the way back when I originally watched the show.

Yes, but I also always thought of it as just being white, and I'm pretty sure that's the impression they were aiming for? Calling it a pearlescent white or something might be more accurate? I tried to go check some official sources real quick, and rather helpfully, the Zukan website's page for PuToTyra -- despite being plastered with photos where the undersuit looks pretty silvery -- also has the same specs that would've been on the show's own site all the way back in the day, where the bit about the undersuit explicitly says the color has changed to a "shining white". So we definitely aren't just crazy!
