Cool strawman you made on what I was saying. I know for a fact that it's not going to be $200 for everything. I never even said anything that would suggest that. What I did was use an example of what paying tariffs could be like.

It's going to vary depending on what's being bought. The point I was making was that the duties are likely going to be high, regardless of what you're buying, and how this is going to affect online stores and small businesses. This isn't fearmongering or even false, this is just facts for now.

Nice of you to assume that I don't know or care that this stuff is made at the expense of Chinese citizens. And I think that the Chinese government needs to do something to actually help their citizens, and that there needs to be major reforms for everything. I'll admit that I'm far from the most qualified on saying how it could be all fixed. But I'm not pretending that this isn't an issue. And I already understand that different companies upcharge their products on products that use slave labor, what made you think I didn't? That I didn't specify that? This is an important issue in and of itself. But neither of these were the topic of the thread to begin with, it was on tariffs. So excuse me for focusing on that.
