You're justifying your position cause my post forced you to at least momentarily revaluate your position. There was no strawman. I've never claimed any moral high ground, but you (and others in this thread) have and as I figured if I used the same rhetorical device against you, you'd actually engage with the argument. And guess what? You did albeit briefly.

No one is forcing you to pay for the tariffs. You don't need to buy that slop. Just like I don't need to buy toys from Japan.

Agree with it or not, but the entire plan behind the tariffs from the Trump admin has been reciprocal tariffs in attempt to bring back US industry. You can say it won't work, it's a dumb way to do it, etc. But how you think that will encourage people to further engage with the Chinese economy and all its drawbacks is beyond me. You seem to be out of your depth.
