Sorato is so much better at keeping up his secret identity this week that it actually kind of shocked me (even if he still acts bizarre to say the least). It felt like only a few days had passed at most since the previous episode, so I'm imagining Kosei dragging him off and giving him "how to act human" cram school. Once again Rekiness proves quite mysterious, as Sorato still finds it familiar in some way, but unidentifiable. He can't use it either! Rekiness also seems to have been the one who communicated it could form armor for Omega to Kosei. The kaiju this week was also cool! I think the original kaiju in Omega have a charm to them a lot like real animals, and this feathery, territorial dinosaur is another good example! The little spat between Kosei and Sorato actually caught my attention less than some of the other details this episode, but it was nice how Kosei still ran off to help Sorato in spite of being annoyed with him.

I also watched Ultraman Rising and the 2019 ULTRAMAN anime that is based on a manga. They were both okay I guess. Rising's plot felt too condensed and the whole Americanized vibe of how they told and Ultraman stort was offputting to me to be honest. The anime series... was also too condensed! And to be blunt, the whole thing felt so much like a mediocre Kamen Rider fanfiction that calling it ULTRAMAN felt misleading. Maybe the manga fares better since it presumably has time to actually explain things!
