Turns out I was wrong about next episode's title continuing the lyrics. Oh well. Awesome to see Caking getting so much love towards the end!

Overall, I'd say this subplot works well thematically and emotionally, shading Shouma's situation. But I still wish it had happened sooner. Because it means that even after learning about the riders and Granute, Sachika is still left out in the cold.
This emphasizes Lakia's development as well. He used to be totally apathetic towards humans, but now he feels terrible without Sachika's validation, since she was the one who got through to him about the true meaning of heroism when Shouma and Hanto couldn't. I like how Lakia's proof of heroism helps Sachika confront her own flaw, finding the power in her heart to forgive him for his crimes and accept that Lakia's past doesn't make him less of the person she's always known and respected. It's a pretty great dynamic, alongside ChocoGummy.

Shouma's going to break the chain! Excited to see how he will act in his new role.

This isn't a redemption, it's an enemy mine situation fueled by mutual needs, like Saeko in W, Kuroto in Ex-Aid, Evolt in Build V-Cinema, or Daichi in Geats. Nyelv communicates pragmatically with Shoma, focusing his capabilities, Michiru's death, and his evolution from those events.
However, if Nyelve's claim is true that he loves his family, including Shouma, having done everything so far to push them towards the top of the Granute World, then I'd say that at least puts him above depraved guys like Evolt and Daichi who are completely self-serving. Not that I'm defending his methods of course, which shows he clearly doesn't care about anybody outside his family other than Suga, to whom he has an odd way of showing respect.

Now even Gavv also leaves me wanting more, as expressed earlier, I wanted to see more exploration of the Granute World. Unfortunately, it's done this late, and they likely will only focus on defeating Bocca, not touching upon other potentials like protecting the Granutes from harm and improving their world to promote happiness for all living beings.
But if Shouma becomes the head of the Stomach family, then that means the Granute World will be in his hands. He'll have the power to reform it in to one similar to Earth, like how Alain did for Ganma World. However, Shouma would also need to ensure there's someone he can trust to continue his work, since the Granute World is something like a republic instead of a monarchy.
