Well, it's pretty obvious that the ending is dragging on and that's why it's going to be abrupt and rushed. It's just that, as I wrote, it suits me. Not happy or delighted, but it suits me. It's just that none of the Stomatch siblings have touched me enough to make me worry about the unfair plot twist. As the saying goes: "Don't be enchanted, lest you be disappointed later." So far the point is that Bocca has to be as invincible as possible to justify Shouma's alliance with Lango. And the fact that he outsmarted Nyelv is part of that invincibility. Then again, it was Bocca who made Nyelv's death miserable, and it's not a question of plot logic or Nyelv's character, but of Bocca wanting it that way. In any case, unlike the ridiculous rescue of Tsumuri in Geats around the same point in the show, at least they didn't skimp on the budget here.
