And again, in Gavv's specific case, even if it doesn't end up being a new favorite, it seems to be a show that rarely if ever leaves people feeling outright burned.

Just to be clear, I am going to watch it at some point no matter what, I just like hearing how other fans feel once the entire show is finally complete. Sometimes it can be hard to figure out what the general fan response to a show is when I am trying to dodge spoilers on the middle of it airing, you know? What you are saying about it lines up pretty well with my impression of it pretty well. Solidly positive reception, not many people who hate it, good balance of light and dark elements.
