Oh, yeah! Ryugi is a character many viewers find hard to identify with, because even with his understandable and relatable problems, his faith in TegaSword separates him from the audience. Therefore, such a long arc focused on him is very necessary. Plus, they played up the theme of replacing the yellow ranger. I still hope that Assam won't repeat the fate of Daigoro and Miki and will return after defeating Rei.
