Well, the episode turned out to be quite interesting, even if it's just the beginning. Baku demonstrates his competence and the usefulness of gimmicks outside of combat, Minami and the police actively assist in the investigation. There's also the first direct confrontation with Nox. And the nightmare of kaiju prisons is also quite unexpected. The action scene is great.
But the main twist of the plot is the revelation of details about Nemu. The manager is clearly obsessed with her, and judging by the preview for the next episode, it's connected to guilt. Apparently, Nemu is in a coma and appears in other people's dreams, which is how she became the number one idol. Well, we'll see if Baku wakes her up in the next episode, or if it won't be so easy. In any case, the result will be very interesting.
P.S. It's funny that in this show, the main character's camera plays a more significant role than even in Decade.
