I really liked this one, yayyyy!

Like Fish mentioned, I am glad they finally started to give some explanations on the Capsems, even if it feels a bit late. Not only that, but I think the episodic plot in this one is really interesting and will probably have implications for the overarching narrative too. The whole national secret angle and how exactly it relates to NOX has me excited for the second part in a way I haven't really felt about any prior Zeztz two-parter. There were also some nice cast interactions here, Nasuka still being wary of how usable Baku's dream evidence is while Fujimi is insistent on getting him involved in his missing subordinate case even if it means potentially interfering with the current one. While not exclusive to this episode, I do also appreciate how Nem is acting as more of a partner to Baku lately since it gives him an ally to bounce off of in the dreams. The direction was also very nice this episode, I exclaimed in delight during the fight when they had the battle from another angle projected onto the wall behind them. I love directors getting funky with projectors in tokusatsu.
