Observations:

Gozyu Wolf is No.1 and it's not even close.

Garyudo, Infinity Ranger and Lex barely deserve their wins, as they rely on cheap tactics or Calamity cheats.

Among the Universe Rangers, Don Momotarou is Nippon Ichi until the end.

Gozyu Polar only managed to defeat a single Universe Ranger in the entire second war, despite winning the first. Perhaps letting the Rings gather naturally is just his style? Something like, "Why should a god like me do the work of man?"

While Dairanger was the most used Gear in Zenkaiger, the Ring was only used once after winning it from Ryu Ranger.

Congrats to fans of Ryusoulger, Gaoranger, Gingaman, Kyoryuger and Goseiger, whose Rings are all tied for No.1 Most Used!

Gingaman fans must be especially gratified, considering how the Gear in Zenkaiger was never ever used in the Geartlinger. After 4 years, justice for Gingaman has been delivered!

Garyudo really loves Goseiger and I can't blame him, that's an awesome show. I suppose the angel motif is kind of similar to Tega June.

Thoughts on the actual finale of Gozyuger and Super Sentai:

I believe the reason why Hoeru couldn't explain to Origa Red what he wanted is due to him having already obtained it without realizing. He turned his back on a chance to reunite with his family, out of a sense of duty to his team, his friends, his pack of outcasts. They all accepted him, even with his rough personality, showed him he was not a wild animal who could only lash out, but rather their equal.

Fire Candle also lost everything, but in contrast, he willingly became that wild animal, feeling like the anger and excitement of battle was the only thing left that could grant him respite from his grieving soul. I love the reversal of their dynamic from Episode 8, this time with Hoeru being the one actually fighting for something while Fire Candle loses himself in the mindlessness of the sensation. Hoeru spared him and Bridan gave him a second chance at life, like the Gozyugers gave Hoeru.

And Hoeru gave his fellow Gozyugers a second chance at the Ring War, not for their sake, but for his own, fully realizing their value to him as friends. Then he won a second time anyway and wished for sausages, which is fine, since Literal Godness Kumade made all their wishes come true when he rewrote the laws of reality. Wonderful ending!

If Gozyuger has a moral, I think it's best represented in Hoeru. Even if you don't have anything you feel strongly about, even if you feel alone and aimless without a destiny to call your own, there is value in living for the present, which can reveal all the mysterious possibilities for the future. Even something small like enjoying a sausage is something worth fighting for.
