Well, it's a recap, so I can't write much about it. However, I do have a few interesting observations.
First, I want to point out that this episode answered a question I had the day before. Specifically, does Baku know about the events that occurred while he was out of the picture? After all, you'll agree, dreams hold no secrets from the dreamer. The answer I received was yes, he does, but he only realized it after waking up. And I'm quite happy with this explanation.
Another interesting detail is that Agent Five doubts the wisdom of attacking Baku. Considering that he previously called himself "the dog of CODE," this is a surprise.
However, he still carries out the order, so it could simply be a flaw in the character of a secondary character. We'll see.
Well, I also want to praise the battle in the finale. Lots of interesting details, like Zeztz breaking Six's capsule, Five's unconventional shooting, and the Mexican duel. And the most striking detail: the appearance of a new dark rider. Little can be said about him yet, except that he's a new level of power. The announcement hints that the newcomer is also an enemy of KODE and another psycho, like Lady and Tree, but we need to see the next episode to know for sure.
And finally, a few words about the new opening. It takes some getting used to, but at first glance, it's not bad. The darker, surreal, nightmarish atmosphere clearly reflects the show's current state. Nem's outfit-changing performance is beautiful.
Overall, it's good episode from good show. But I still think that if there were five episodes instead of 23, it would have been better. At the same time, the recap could be made more interesting, like last year's. Although, I repeat, it's not bad as is.
