I called something like this back in the Episode 4 thread, except instead of Minami dreaming of a useless NPC Baku, her dream forces Baku to become the useless NPC. Seems like this and the falling asleep problem are foreshadowing for the reveal of real world Agent Minami, as who else would be able to subconsciously inhibit Baku's lucid dreaming power like that?

Anyway, this does explain why CODE have been so nonchalant about Baku evicting Zero, since they still have their inside agent.
