There was a lot of good stuff in this episode. We were given the origins of the Nightmares, and with stylish animation. It turns out they are the price for humanity to gain consciousness and are responsible for all the evil in the world. Zero and CODE believe the Nightmares must be destroyed. Lady, on the other hand, is convinced that light and darkness are inseparable and any attempt to upset the balance is criminal. So far, most of the facts are on her side, but the truth is, both are thinking about their children first.
There was also a very spectacular and intense battle between Zeztz and Nightmare Zero, ending with the destruction of the belt. Albeit temporarily before the debut of the final form. The duration of the Order was short-lived. Apparently, the order doesn't suit this show.
(They also fought in an open container, strikingly similar to the one where Blade and Garen fought Undead Zebra 20 years ago. Could Dawn have gotten them there?)
Nasukа's introduction to NOX and the commercial for the upcoming Agito movie were also funny. It's interesting that the police are responsible for the humor in this show.
And Zero finally returned Baku's motorcycle. A nice touch.
However, I still couldn't fully connect with Zero's misfortune. Yes, as I wrote in the thread of the last episode, he's in a no-win situation, but he got himself into it. And I have a strong feeling there were plenty of opportunities to fix everything.
Also, considering that fighting Nightmares is CODE's main goal, why does Dawn receive so little attention from them? I mean, Nightmares have existed since time immemorial and somehow haven't destroyed humanity yet. But their powerful fan, with his own prison and the ability to interfere with other people's dreams, could very well contribute to this. But the entire CODE (or what's left of it) is far more afraid of Baku's rebellion. So either we're still missing something, or the powerful spy organization has screwed up here too.
And the next episode promises more of Dawn's misdeeds and the dark side of Nem, who either didn't understand or didn't believe her mother's words. And, of course, Zeztz's final form.
