Okay onto why the gray mech is on earth. Basically he was part of a robotic Sentai team on his world, but they were losing. The team gets info from the bronze on invasion plans for earth, which leads the team to decide to get there first so they can defend it so earth does not end up like their home. The gray mech then works on a portal to transport the team to earth ahead of the villains and set up defenses on earth. The team had to find the exact position of earth before they can go, which leads to the events of the opening scene. The colored hexagonal components that were taken from each mech before they were destroyed were sort of like their brains (let’s call them Power Cores for now) so none of the mechs died, just bodiless. Now on earth the gray mech finds out that the people of the planet have a compatible energy signature (kind of like from RPM) with his kind so he then works on away to adapt the Power Cores to the humans thus creating morphers. Now he just needs to find the right humans to match up with the members of the team. Next time I will talk about more of the members of the humen team and talk about powers weapons and design.
