Not to say that I wasn't impressed with the other brands, but Takaratomy sure feels like the MVP for this year's Shizuoka Hobby Show.

Honestly, even if Ryuguno and Ryujino don't see new merch, I'll be content with just this one. It's so out of left field that this feels like a miracle.
I don't even care if he doesn't come with his bike, just seeing a new Ryukendo toy made with what appears to be updated proportions brings a smile to my face.

And it's not even its 20th anniversary yet. If I may continue to ramble, I think Takaratomy did a lot of research on their competitors for this year's reveal, the ones I could think of being the most likely ones are the third party Transformers brands, Kotobukiya, and Good Smile. About time, because their b-daman reboot that shot PET bottle caps tanked (though I thought it was a nice reboot), the new Beyblade seems meh in terms of hype by now, and their mecha stuff under Tomica wasn't all that hot in general. With that said, kudos to Takaratomy for putting in work.
