And here's my Kamen Rider Shin figure from Asahi :



This figure was really a pain in the a** to paint, specially the light yellow / Green gradient on the torso and legs...

Here's my Garuru / Jiro full repainr from Kamen Rider Kiva :



The sculpt is incredibely detailled for such a small scale (about 10 cm / 3,75 inches). It was a real pleasure to paint !

Hello everyone,

I’ve always loved Akakage’s retro design, and I wanted to buy a figure of the hero for my collection. The brand Epoch released several gashapon figures a few years ago, in both gold and color versions, but unfortunately the painted ones are ridiculously expensive.

So I went for the gold version and decided to repaint it entirely with acrylic paint. The figure was painted using both an airbrush and regular brushes, mainly with Vallejo paints. I finished it off with a matte varnish to protect and unify the paint job.

I tried to be as meticulous as possible — the chainmail on the arms was an absolute nightmare to paint.

In the last photo, I included a comparison with a commercially painted version.

And I can’t wait for the first episodes of Takashi Miike’s version to be released!
