I still don't like the opening but that darned ending has wormed it's way into my brain (and heart - awwww). I think the CD with these released today in Japan.

So unlike Excite these don't disappoint!

I love the opening for its optimistic lyrics and upbeat tone (it kind of reminds me of the Carranger theme in that sense), and the ending grows on me every time I hear it. I'm convinced it's kind of brilliant at this point. Like, "you and me and you and min~na de odorou"? That's so genius it's stupid. Or maybe so stupid it's genius. Pick one.

I like both of these quite a bit. The opening is just generally cool. The ending is as absurd as ever, but I like it more the more I listen to it. And I liked it a lot the first time I heard it.

That's exactly it. The full version of Excite was disappointing given how amazing it is (well, was) as an opening. I know we disagree on a lot of stuff, Kiwami, but I'm not crazy.
