Well, this was a good episode overall, I do wonder if a perma death for a member is going to happen at this pace though, the stakes are getting higher at least.

The comedy though, cannot say I am much of a fan, but at least I can overall watch this unlike Ninninger which just made me more and more annoyed per episode, people have issues with Lucky, but I feel that pales in comparison to the issues Ninninger had.

Still, to have this after the far more enjoyable Zyuohger does make KyuRanger's flaws show far more, the budget especially seems to be struggling.

Maybe because I felt Zyohger had far better main characters, on the other hand the villains in KyuRanger so far feel better then Zyohger's.

I guess but exposing them to a foreign environment might have been dangerous, which didn't matter anyway because Stinger ripped them later on lmao.

This was a pretty good episode. Not significantly above average, or as crazy fun as last week's space hero escapades, but there was a lot I really liked here:

- Lucky's typical heroic speech worked great this week because it was kind of downplayed. He's not making any big moving statement so much as just explaining his actions, and it shows why he is, despite his eccentric qualities, more than qualified for being a Kyuranger.

- It's also cool because the decision he makes actually has negative consequences. The team loses a MacGuffin to the bad guys because of it!

- On which note, Scorpio is one of the best things to happen to this show. Maybe it's just that Zyuohger's baddies were so underwhelming, but I don't think we've had a villain in Sentai this competent in a while.

- This is old news at this point but Naga and Balance really are a comic relief dream team.

- More surprisingly dynamic action with Kyuren-Oh here. For such a clunky thing it's rather spry when it wants to be.

Also, Lucky's growing on me more now. His morals are making up for his atrocious catchphrase being everywhere

This episode was actually not that bad. Hopefully they continue with tweaking Lucky bit by bit so that one day Yossha Lucky! will not cause us pain.
