With the Rhino Doubler still on the loose, its time for a second helping of the new Metal Hero as Gavan teams up with the Go-Busters once again! However that isn't the only problem they have to face as Enter returns to seek revenge on our heroes! Discuss here!

Obviously Enter has Raiders of the Lost Ark in his DVD collection. Also--kinda appreciated the more retro look of Makuu Space this time around. |

just got done watching: overall, the teamup with Gavan was utterly amazing, we need a new metal heroes show. I really like the direction Gobusters is going, i'm tuning in every week now instead of waiting 6 weeks or so to catch up. Lets see if Gobusters can keep this new direction going good now that Gavan has left

Something tells me that this isn't the last we've seen of Gavan on this show.

That was a great episode, which worked much better as a team-up because it seemed to focus on Gavan and the Go-Busters much more equally than the previous one did. I'm liking this new broodier Enter, and the plot to combine Makuu Space and Hyperspace was pretty neat. Plus it gave the series its first proper giant monster And now for my moment of scepticism...I think I'm going to have to wait until the movie to decide how well a new Gavan series would work. I love Gavan and I'm warming up to Geki more but his look, his weapons and bike are all very....80s. It worked in the Gokaiger movie and I'm sure plenty of adults love it but I have to wonder how kids feel about the extremely retro-look of the character.

I don't think if we got a new Metal Hero show it'd be a new Gavan, or a show about Geki, I think it'd be a completely new show that was reminiscent of the previous ones, maybe with some references and stuff.

In other words a completely new Metal Hero, right? Honestly, I'm surprised they didn't do that with this movie.

Maybe. But if that was the case then it seems to make more sense to have Geki become a new Space Sheriff than a second Gavan.

I think they're going back to the beginning to re-establish the Metal Hero brand before they get all eccentric. It was a loooong road from Gavan to Robotack. There were a lot of blind alleys in those series. |
