i have lost my imagination like i cant visualize fights with my toys and i have to rely on watching the show to play with my toys, has anyone had this similar problem in general with any merchandise driven shows?

Well, I generally view them more as static art than toys.
But if I want imaginative, I go into something surreal like this:

I also like imagining my Claw BattleZord South dicing up my SwordfishZord as part of a meal for Gosei Ground.
Or (if I had the figures and ability to actually DO this) a stop motion video of the Gokaigers screwing with a drunk AkibaRed to "Drunken Sailor" by The Irish Rovers. Luka and Ahim do-si-doing while Don, Jo and Gai mess with the plastered otaku until Marvelous pops in to knock some sense into everyone.
