Thai people love tokusatsu, and they've had a long and colorful history with it - from making a bootleg Kamen Rider movie (Hanuman and the Five Riders) to the decades-long legal battle over the international Ultraman license. In 2006, they decided to try out their own Super Sentai show. Sport Ranger uses a sports motif (obviously).

I'll tell you one thing: they obviously put a lot more effort on their show than the Filipinos did with Zaido.

That actually looks fairly interesting. I could watch something like this. Although, the robo looks a bit like a knockoff Dairenoh, and their emblem looks like the Kakuranger/Alien Rangers one

As awesome as this looks, I just couldn't stand the Thai language on the show. But I also had a tough time watching Ong Bak as well...
