I never saw it when it originally aired. Watched the first episode online the first time a couple years ago though. It was bad. Was able to watch more recently when "This" started airing it in the mornings. What I've seen overall wasn't as bad as my first encounter with it. Still would not say it was good though. I at least find an appreciation for its overabundance of camp.
