Subs are FINALLY out for this thanks to TV Nihon!! Episode 13 is out as well!
Prism Ace is possibly the greatest knockoff of all knockoffs. I immediately require an Ultra-Act figure be made, I fully expect one. This capped off the series so nicely. Having Nobuo become huge using the Wolzaphone, going Cho Super for like 4 seconds, having a heroes death because of Hakase. This episode had it all. The plan by the rival company to steal the Sunday time slot was also pure genius, way out of left field, and very funny. On to 13 with the epilogue for our fallen heroes!

Long wait, but totally worth it. The sudden Ultraman thing confused the hell out of me at first, but everything from there on unfolded in an incredibly fun and ridiculous way. And then the ending. Man, that was brilliant.
![]() Hopefully I won't have to wait another week to see the finale, even if it is a clip show. |

It's good to know when confronted with Ultraman, shooting him repeatedly in the junk always works.

If Bandai doesn't make a Prism Ace Ultra Act I will be unimaginably saddened. That was probably one of the best parts of the series. I think they were making a joke on Tsuburaiyas behalf towards Chaiyo productions and the whole Ultraman mess they caused. What with trying to call Ultraman their own and attempting to make series and movies based on their original characters. Using that as plot for the end of season 2 was sheer brilliance.

That was an amazing finale. The Ultraman parody came out of nowhere and was utterly fantastic
![]() Funnily enough I'd never fully realised the left to right thing. I mean I've always noticed it but it never fully clicked until they explained it.

... What the hell just happened? This episode, and by extension, the whole series has been one crazy/awesome mess (with a lot of the awesome!!!). Chinaman and Gosei Sentai Akibaranger, the Powerful Rangers, Tentoraiger, General Pain, and, finally, Malshina's whole plan. Oh, and Prism Ace. We need a figure of him. NOW!

Maybe I'm just spoiled by Season 1's "ending", but this episode, felt really... disappointing. While there's still the usual Akibaranger brilliance to be found, it just didn't feel as polished or interesting as the last finale, and so much crap came out of damn nowhere. I can't feel satisfied with Jumborg Ace's cousin being the final boss, because Jumborg Ace's cousin didn't appear until this episode.
Maybe the real final episode will make it click more, but probably not.
