New Showa Rider S.H.Figuarts Coming?

It seems that Bandai will be announcing a new Showa RIder in the coming months.

A new web page was just launched which showcases various characters from Kamen Rider’s Showa Era that have had releases thus far, and right next to Super 1 we have “Coming Soon!”

Only three Riders from the Showa Era remain that have yet to receive S.H.Figuarts and those Riders are: Shin, ZO, and J but as this just a teaser announcement, there isn’t a whole lot of information to go on.

What do you think the new S.H.Figuarts will be? Make the jump and speculate in the thread!

Shin.. My god that is a beautiful thing.. J though might be the only Rider you can buy one of those two foot Project BM!'s of, and still have it be somewhat in scale with Figuarts.

J SHIN AND ZO ARE NOT SHOWA

The Showa period is December 25, 1926, through January 7, 1989.

also that coming soon is for ZX

Technically speaking those dudes really are Heisei but I've always considered them Showa as well. I will give my first born for ZO as long as they release Z-Bringer as well. But I would be ridiculously happy to get Shin and J as well.

Actually you are correct.
The cutoff line between Showa and Heisei is actually marked by the death of Ishimori Shotaro. Anything made before his death, and using the old system will still be marked as Showa, just like Black RX.

You are correct

Toei semi-officially considers anything pre-death Showa.

They have ZX in the picture at the top but not in the listings below. I hope it's not meant to be him in the blank box. That wouldn't really make any sense after having him at the top of the page, anyway.

Actually they call Shin, ZO, and J "Neo Rider" at one point.
That label was pretty bad and they dropped it when Kuuga was introduced.

So the Tokusatsu Showa Era wasn't marked by who the Emporer was during the political Shōwa Era?

We are talking about this unique case here, and it only works for Kamen Rider.
