![]() For 20 years, the Power Rangers have protected the Earth from all evildoers. Whether they be aliens, witches, robots, an evil team of rangers, demons, and even mutants. The Power Rangers have always defended the world from all of the evil within the world, and have come out on top countless times. And they are powerful. Only the best of the best have the honor of becoming a ranger. But who is the most powerful? Which of these warriors are the best of the best? The ones that have done the most to defend the Earth. The ones that are the deadliest? This tournament is here to finally set in stone who out of the 20 years of Power Rangers is the deadliest. The fights will be brutal, the strategies will be thought provoking, and the outcomes will be definite. There can be only one Deadliest Ranger! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Each battle will take place as one on one scenarios. Each ranger will have with them all of their signature weapons and skills from the point in time they are being discussed. Along with their ranger abilities, their civilian ones will be put on the line as well. Each fight will be decided under the rule of most votes towards one ranger. All voting will be done in discussion, as to give each character an equal chance at victory instead of a popularity contest. This is why all of these bouts will be decided WITHOUT any polls. The only way to vote is to discuss it. The subjects of discussion will be simple. Each battle will have an equal number of categories for each ranger in it. These categories will be: - Weaponry - Civilian powers and skill (such as fighting skills, and any special powers they have) - The amount of armor of their suit - How the suits look visually Weaponry in itself will be divided into different categories. Those are: - Basic weaponry (such as a standard blaster or sword) - Signature weapon - Special Weapon - Ultimate Weapon Also, each battle will take place in an environment that suits both rangers. This way, it gives a sense of a battlefield strategy to the fights. Now with the formalities out of the way, let the fight begin! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Red Bracket - Round 2 Our second round combatants are: Shane Clarke - Red Wind Ranger (Ninja Storm) ![]() VS Jayden Shiba- Red Samurai Ranger (Samurai) ![]() Each ranger is highly skilled in the arts of both combat and magic. Whether it be via special ninjitsu, samurai powers, and of course swords, these two have sliced and diced their way through any opposition. When it comes to weapons, Shane is ready to go with: Basic Weapon: Power Discs A.K.A. Shuriken Signature Weapon: Ninja Sword/Laser Blaster Special Weapon: Hawk Blaster Ultimate Weapon: Lightning Riff Blaster And to the fray, Jayden comes prepared with: Basic Weapon: Spin Sword Signature Weapon: Samurai Discs Special Weapon: Shark Sword Ultimate Weapon: Bullzooka/Shogun Spear For this battle, the two combatants will duke it out in a small plain clearing. To add a bit more fun to this environment, this clearing has both elements of a forest, and quarry/rocky mountain ground type of area. The millennia long battle of ninjas and samurais is about to come to a head. Who will prevail? The strong headed serious ninja? Or the strong headed serious samurai? Only you can decide. Let combat begin!

I'd say Jayden. Sure, Shane is a decent red and certainly has proven himself as a capable fighter (Hell, he managed to take out the Dino Rangers for crying out loud) But Jayden has years of training under his belt and not to mention all his god damn power ups that make him OP as fuck!
Sorry Shane, but Jayden simply has you out matched here. |

At what point in the timeline is this running off of? Because by the end of super samurai Jayden is powerful as balls but Shane is a Ninja Master by the end of his and that will tie into my decision.

Well the weapons I gave him would hint at the idea of that this is end of the season Jayden VS end of the season Shane. To be fair I never watched Samurai so I got no clue of the timeline. So eh, decide for yourself.

As far as skills are concerned, both of them have trained since young age in their respective arts, and improved as their series went on.
However Jayden not only has access to more varied equipment but also to a greater array of forms, which no doubt will give him an edge in the battle. Also while Shane air manipulation is an incredible skill in battle, the Samuraizer and the Power Symbols give Jayden acces to a larger set of powers. My vote goes to the Samurai this time. |

I'm going with Jayden despite my judgement for his actor in the first half of samurai.

The Samurai Discs have one major draw back: if Jayden loses his Spin Sword, he cannot use the Discs. And that includes things like the Shark Disc that become weapons and power ups. Shane's Ninja Powers can let him literally stay above Jayden's slashes.
However if Jayden activates the Shark Sword before Shane can knock the Spin Sword away, Jayden can continuously trail after Shane's Ninja-ing. But both Ninja and Samurai undergo rigorous training where one specializes in stealth and assassination while the other trains in swordsmanship and direct combat. But when a ninja loses their stealth, they lose much of thier advantages. Jayden could keep forcing Shane to to fight him until Shane's inadequate combat prowess ends in a Quickening. However the level of cover in the arena might be plentiful enough for Shane to tire Jayden through repeat use of various Ninja Tricks. Enough fatigue could slow Jayden's reaction time just enough that he will show an opening and forsake his fate. Very tough call. Also, I don't think you can use Mega Mode without the Megazord.
