I've been reading through posts and I see that a lot of our new members, and some of the ones that have been here a while, are to young to remember the olden days of Power Rangers. So I decided to make this thread as a way to help you decide where to start watching and what seasons really stand out as something to watch.

Time Force.
It's standalone outside of the annual team up (Which can be skipped as it doesn't serve much purpose), so you don't need to watch 6 years of PR just to get to it.
It's rather high quality for a Power Rangers season (The worst problem is that some characters aren't super memorable).
It's easy to follow.

SPD. I loved it. Has plenty of Original Footage, great acting, and great character development. Next to RPM, my second favorite season, and one of Disney's best. But I say start with Lightspeed Rescue. I liked it and none of them were really teenagers.

Here's my thoughts.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Honestly you can skip most of the original three seasons and be alright. Just watch the first episode, Green with Evil 1-5, Island of Illusion for the first appearance of Lokar (My favorite S1 villian), The Green Candle, Doomsday (Again Lokar and Goldarr's Cyclopsos Zord), The Mutiny, White Light, The Power Transfer, The Wedding, Wild West Rangers, A Friend in Need (Which despite having Masked Rider was actually great), Ninja Quest, Changing the Zords, A Different Shade of Pink, Master Vile and the Metallic Armor, Rangers in Reverse, and all the Alien Ranger episodes between MMPR and Zeo.

Power Rangers Zeo - The whole thing. Every episode, you won't be disappointed.

Power Rangers Turbo - Honestly this season was horrible. Just watch the final episode to watch them hop into space and you'll be fine. And miss TJ's brilliant "Imma shoot my car at you!" idea.

Power Rangers In Space - This you need to watch. Every episode. It's the end of the Zordon Era, it has a better final invasion than the first episodes of Megaforce, and some of the absolute best Zord designs. Delta for the win. Not to mention the Psycho Rangers. The best evil team the franchise has ever had.

Lost Galaxy - Yup, every episode. Or atleast the ones with the Psychos, Magna Defender, and Kendrix's final episode. The one, and only season that had a core member actually die. The finale was also epic, loved it.

Lightspeed Rescue - I honestly have no idea, I only remember bits and pieces.

Time Force - Ignoring my dislike for Eric. This season is worth a watch. If for no other reason than Jen. She was the Pink Ranger, and she was a better Red Ranger than the Red Ranger. She is, by far, the best pink of the original Saban run.

And deserved a damn Legend Key.

Wild Force - Watch Forever Red and you'll be fine.

I'll post thoughts on the Disney run later on.

The best season in my opinion is Time Force but honestly minus misfires like Wild Force and Dino Thunder you can't really go wrong with Disney's run from the show. So I'd sooner point you to one of their seasons, like Jungle Fury, than to one of Saban's like Time Force. Even weaker seasons like SPD had their moments, which is more than I can say for Saban as I find most of my childhood favourites unwatchable as an adult.

I agree with most of whst sentai said with MMPR but for turbo watch passing the tourch onwards cause the second turbo team was better then first. I then go on sayin in space hole thing same with list galaxy light speed rescue time force wild force was ok I enjoyed the show same with ninja storm onwards till OO if I say it I enjoyed OO a lot but could be skipped and just watch once a ranger special.

If you're looking for a Disney Era you might've missed then just watch Jungle Fury. Everything that is right about the Disney Era is in Jungle Fury. The casting, the writing, everything is there for you.
