When was it ever implied that Right & Mio were a couple at all? If anything the show has heavily leaned towards Tokatti & Mio.

You not going to make Right and Mio a couple without foreshadow them! The reason of why Amy "suddenly" fall in love with Daigo because the actor who played them fall in love with each other! Heck! I think it's Ryo Ryusei (Daigo's actor) idea to have Amy fall in love with him. And plus, do you ever see Right fall in love with girl? The only one who he fall in love with is FOOD!!! And please, this is my opinion. If Right try to hit on Mio, Tokatti will beat him down for 24 hours. ![]() |

Eh, the Daigo/Ami thing was foreshadowed pretty early in the season. It only ended up feeling so forced because it wasn't built up more consistently. They kind of introduced it (initially as a reason to put her at odds with Yayoi), only to more or less abandon it until the last couple of episodes. They put a LOT more focus on Yayoi being all school girl over him, and didn't really build on his dynamic with Ami.
As far as ToQ, Tokatti/Mio is ovbvious at this point. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Kagura paired with Right or Akira, just because she has great chemistry with both. But they would have had to introduce it as a story point much earlier than now for it to really feel like it isn't forced. |

Pretty much. They teased it around the same time they brought Yayoi in, but never followed up until the very last episodes. It needed more attention, and it could have worked fine.

I always had the feeling that the writers weren't that fond of Daigo/Amy because in most Yayoi-centric episodes, Amy showed no interest und Daigo at all and when Yayoi first appeared, Amy even came to the conclusion that she isn't in love with Daigo.
