Which Godzilla film was the first to implement Cgi?

So as a newbie to Godzilla Films I have only seen the original and Godzilla Vs
Destoroyah I was wondering when did the series start implementing extensive use of Cgi? I know that Final wars has a ton of it but does anyone know what the first one to overuse it was? I'm kind of into the old organic way of doing things so I want to know how many movies after Destoroyah started using it? Destoroyah had very little and was filmed very oldschool.

If we're talking CG beyond laser effects, then I think it's the American '98 Godzilla.
I think GMK made a lot of use out of CG, too...I dunno. It's been years since I've watched it.

I remember Mothra at the end of Godzilla vs. Mothra in 1992 was CG. I also remember the last scene before Godzilla went meltdown in Godzilla vs. Destroyah.
