Absolutely Gokaiger. I'm not going to go so far as to say it's the only good show from this era, but the competition is very thin.

I'm gonna be the sole rep of Go-Busters here; but the truth is that Gokaiger and Toqger are very good 2nd and 3rd places. Go-Busters just consistently impressed me with its tight storytelling and how committed to being its own thing it was.

Shame about the mech designs, but hey, if that's the main issue I can find? That speaks a lot about its quality.

Since there's polls for Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, why not Ultraman and Power Rangers too?

Go-Busters, hands down (of the ones I've seen). Great story, fantastic cast (damn you, Hiroya Matsumoto) and I loved the villain(s). Outside of some... ahem, lowbrow humor, I loved this series through and through.

The only one I can vote on and the easiest one as well - it's Zyuohger.

The best Red I have ever seen, not a stupid loudmouth but a reserved, tactical leader who deeply cares about his team. Which was also great, every single member had something unique to add so the whole experience actually felt like a group that was more than just the sum of its parts. Plus - the best sixth Ranger I have ever seen to boot. Misao is introduced as a big bad Ranger but once rescued he becomes such a unique figure that seemingly does not fit within the dynamic of the group but strangely enough that incompatibility is exactly what fuses them together. He has a fantastic character arc and I will never forget the scene where he rushes out of the hospital to stand by his friends. Yeah the villains are lackluster, the overall story only scratches the surface of what's possible but still - to this day this is the best Sentai show I've seen, I actually miss it too, so I will absolutely rewatch it at some point. |

Gokaiger,ToQger and Kyuranger are definitely my highlights but I think Gokaiger has to win for me, just for the well-done tributes to previous shows. The one thing is I never saw what was so great about Luka, I actually preferred Aim and Don was maybe a bit forgettable come to think of it but on balance, especially considering how Decade had treated series I loved and it wasn't a great time in my life, I have to give it to Gokaiger. I still haven't finished either Megaforce or Super Megaforce because I'm not a great fan of either!
