Huh. Sounds like they're using the Japanese memory sounds. Does that mean Korea was just trying to be original then?

Typically, role play toys and DX Mecha's the exact same in hong kong. The Korean versions were probably trying to match up to their dubs of the show...hence why the Mopriates says the Power Ranger names rather then the Sentai ones.

Yeah, but considering Korean toys only recently started that, I was assuming that Bandai of Asia might do something similar. I take it the shows are dubbed to Chinese, so they would be free to use either the Korean or Japanese belt voices?

I'm preeeeetty sure the Hong Kong versions keeps the japanese sound effects...don't quote me on this, cause I haven't seen the Canontese dubs.

I actually have seen the cantonese dubs and I own the asian fang memory and I can very easily say that all sounds are identical to the Japanese versions. The toys don't even have lower sound then the Japanese ones so they are straight up reissues.

Awesome! I guess that's good for people who want the Fang Memory, but the rest of the stuff is made somewhat defunct by the Super Best W Driver.
