Original, unedited post: Aaaaannnnnddddd, my hypothesis in my 1st post in episode 39 thread here about the owner guy of the same candy/snack shop shown in episodes 30, 31, 34, 37, 39, & 40 being an immediate family member of Michiru (Shouma's mom) is proven to be correct in the scene @ 09:39. His name is Masaru Inoue (井上 優), and he's Michiru's older brother, so yeah, he's Shouma's maternal uncle, just like I hypothesized. In the scene @ 11:36, he shows Hanto the photo of a young Michiru, who he says went missing when she went to college. He says that she was a member of the college's snack club. Also, in the scene @ 17:24, my hypothesis a long long looooong time ago in my posts in episode 22 thread here and in episode 23 thread here where I hypothesized that the cells from Kenzou's dead body would be claimed by Nyelv to be repurposed/recombined with other experimental cells in an experiment to create an unknown product is finally proven to be quite correct. He's basically just Nyelv's mindless zombie puppet now. His body is repurposed/recombined with an unknown Granute's dead body (very likely Bocca's political rival) by Nyelv. The dead Granute is said by Bocca to having had possessed a very very very plot-convenient ability to hypnotize/control people, so Bocca orders Nyelv in the scene @ 07:41 to combine it with a human's body to control humans in order to transform the entire human world into a planet-scale Hito Press farm like he envisioned earlier in the scene @ 00:30. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Elaborated, edited post: Lage 9 says in the opening monologue that the one who killed Komel was Glotta after all. Well, Lage 9, if in episode 19 @ 17:13 you already saw that Komel's wound was a huge, gaping open wound inflicted by a large blade, then you should've already been able to arrive at that conclusion since much much much earlier, since you already saw as early as episode 20 @ 14:23 that Glotta wielded a giant scythe. Heck, you even fought her in the same episode @ 20:06, so you should've known what the blade of her scythe was capable of and drawn the correct conclusion. I excitedly thought that Lage 9 was the Donnie Brasco of this story, and was disappointed and proven completely wrong when it was revealed that he was just an ordinary civilian Granute who had a very very very plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin power. I was even more disappointed when it was revealed in episode 39 that indeed it was just Glotta who killed Komel. What a convenient, yet dumb plot line. *facepalm "gLoTtA wAs tHe oNe wHo kIlLeD kOmEl aFtEr aLl!" = "Water is wet!" = "The sun rises in the east and sets in the west!" = "The moon comes out at night!" = "Dogs bark and cats meow!" = "Zolda sucks at playing guitar!" = "KR Gavv's story is atrocious!" Haha. ![]() ![]() ![]() Gavv 19 @ 17:22 ![]() Gavv 20 @ 14:39 ![]() Gavv 20 @ 20:10 ![]() In the scene @ 00:30, Liselle laments Glotta's death after she hears from Nyelv that Glotta was defeated by Shouma/KR Gavv and Lage 9/KR Vram at the end of episode 40 last week. She says she wanted to get close to Glotta. I think she's just mocking Glotta, since no way this spoiled rich brat actually wants to make friends with other people, haha. ![]() ![]() In the scene @ 01:53, Shouma visits the same Hidamari candy/snack shop shown in episodes 30, 31, 34, 37, 39, & 40 to buy several snacks to refill his depleted Gochipod RG. The owner guy thinks Shouma's habit of eating a lot of snack is a bit worrying, though Shouma reassures him that he also eats full meals, which then reminds the owner guy that when his younger sister was a kid, she was often scolded for eating a lot of snacks. One more clue until the reveal of the owner guy as an immediate family member of Michiru (Shouma's mom), haha. ![]() In the scene @ 02:24, when Shouma is walking home, he sees 2 people doing bizarre repeated motions, while the mysterious man in black robe shown in the preview section of episode 40 last week is ominously seeing them from afar. What's happening here? In the scene @ 04:31, Sachika tells Shouma that she also saw several people doing similarly bizarre repeated motions. She thought that those people were having fun, for example the elderly lady who repeatedly stroked a postbox in the hope of winning a prize. In the scene @ 05:10, Hanto visits the apartment of a man with an Inoue (井上) surname. He doesn't seem to be at home, so a neighbor of his tells Hanto that he's usually at his shop during the day. This Inoue guy must be the owner guy of the Hidamari candy/snack shop that Shouma visited earlier @ 01:53. In the scene @ 05:34, Lage 9 is collecting some tasty rocks near a river. He feels that Stomach's part-timers' activities have decreased, which he thinks is due to Lango Mango's and Glotta's defeat. He then encounters a human elderly man who is trying to eat rocks, instead of fishing like he's shown to be doing. As usual in this atrocious story, in a very very very convenient coincidence, Shouma arrives at that location at the right moment to notice that the same mysterious man in black robe is also ominously seeing the scene from afar. Lage 9, Shouma, and Sachika are taking the elderly man to a hospital and conclude that there must be something going on. Kotaro Minami: "Could this be Gorgom's plot?" Shouma: "Could this be Stomach's plot?" Haha. ![]() In the scene @ 07:10, the mysterious man in black robe uses his Bake Magnum to shoot at a random guy who is receiving a can of coffee from a vending machine. He orders the random guy to repeatedly press the button on the vending machine. Nyelv then enters the scene and says that simple commands are almost guaranteed to work and is seemingly satisfied for his first experiment. In an elaborated flashback scene of the earlier scene @ 00:30, Bocca said that the dead body of a certain Granute that he showed to Nyelv had a special ability that he had thought would've been useful to him in the future, so he had decided to keep the dead body. He tells Nyelv that the Granute's special ability had been something akin to hypnosis. He said that the Granute was able to control the action of other Granutes, so he was planning to use the Granute's hypnosis ability on humans since it would make collecting Hito Presses much easier. Based on Nyelv's bizarre post-mortem monologue (which is an obvious infodump, haha ![]() In the scene @ 09:04, Hanto visits the location of the shop where the Inoue guy earlier @ 05:10 is supposed to work at, and yes, it's the same Hidamari candy/snack shop that Shouma visited earlier @ 01:53. The owner guy recognizes Hanto as Shouma's friend that he encountered in a very very very convenient coincidence in episode 39 @ 11:18. Aaaaannnnnddddd, my hypothesis in my 1st post in episode 39 thread here about the owner guy of the same Hidamari candy/snack shop shown in episodes 30, 31, 34, 37, 39, & 40 being an immediate family member of Michiru (Shouma's mom) is proven to be correct in the scene @ 09:39 when Hanto asks the owner guy if his name is Masaru Inoue (井上 優) and the owner guy confirms it. Hanto asks Masaru if there was any of his family members who went missing about 20 years ago. Masaru answers that his younger sister was missing, and her name was Michiru Inoue. He's Michiru's older brother, so yeah, he's Shouma's maternal uncle, exactly like I hypothesized. I elaborated and asked in my posts in episode 33 thread here and episode 40 thread here why the heck Shouma hasn't tried to make Hanto's job 10000000000000000000% easier by showing him the the family tree of his mom that might include the names of her siblings, parents, grandparents, uncles, cousins, etc, at least her immediate family's. Now the answer is as clear as day: Plot convenience, as always in this atrocious story. If Shouma had told Hanto about Masaru's existence, then Hanto would've been 10000000000000000000% more likely to find him much much much earlier, so Masaru's apparent, yet mysterious connection to Shouma during all his appearances in episodes 30, 31, 34, 37, 39, & 40 would've been totally for naught. It would've ruined the carefully planned uber-convoluted plots, and the story would've gone haywire. Once again, this scene demonstrates that this atrocious story is a gigantic house of cards that would pathetically crumble when exposed to even the tiniest dose of common sense. TLDR: Plot convenience, as always in this atrocious story. My Lord, how pathetically, laughably, indefensibly lazy, cheap, sloppy, heavy-handed, and atrocious KR Gavv's story is. Thanks for the impressively atrocious story, Gavv's producers and writers! *facepalm I've got nothing more to say about the sheer stupidity of the Shouma-hiding-Masaru's-existence-from-Hanto-in-order-to-drag-10-episodes-longer subplot, so let me repost my point about it in my post last week in episode 40 thread here: "Oh, and Shouma the stupidest protagonist asked Hanto in episode 29 @ 03:44 to find the remaining family members of his mom, so why the heck hasn't he tried to make Hanto's job easier by showing him the the family tree of his mom? ![]() ![]() - Has zero intention of making Hanto's job easier (read: a plot convenience to make the convoluted story even more convoluted and unnecessary longer than needed), - And or is just stupid beyond belief that he deserves the name Shouma the stupidest protagonist. The whole problem (and the plot!) would've been solved by a simple Ctrl + F in the police database to confirm the various details of a Michiru Inoue. Gosh, this story is just soooooooooooooooooooooo unnecessary convoluted to the point it completely disregards many obvious, simple, easy, perfectly executable solutions. Soooooooooooooooooooooo stupid! *facepalm" In the scene @ 10:36, Sachika points out that there have been talks in social media about a suspicious man dressed in black near the scenes of people doing bizarre repeated motions, who people think could be a Granute. Shouma recalls seeing the mysterious man in black robe during a very very very convenient coincidence earlier @ 05:34 and concludes that the man must be involved. Soooooooooo convenient! In the scene @ 11:36, Masaru shows Hanto the photo of a young Michiru, who he says went missing when she went to college. He says that she was a member of the college's snack club. He says that he and both their parents believed that she was still alive somewhere and would've returned home, though that day would've never come, and both their parents died in grief. Masaru tells Hanto @ 13:39 that he has never told Shouma (and all other customers of his candy/snack shop) about Michiru's disappearance, but what the heck's the point of him not telling people about it? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() In the scene @ 14:28, Jeebh is blaming himself for the disintegration within the Stomach family, likely because he decided to marry Liselle. He's unwilling to use Shita's Mimic Key because it would mean that the Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv/kuro Gabu would end up on Shita. This scene ends with Liselle encouraging (read: agitating) Jeebh by telling him to be strong, and Jeebh being Liselle's personal cuck boy, as usual, haha. ![]() Like I always said, it has been established in this story that a Mimic Key is basically just clothes, not a body, so why does Jeebh always bizarrely treats Shita's Mimic Key so personally? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Gavv 14 @ 19:39 ![]() In the scene @ 17:09, Shouma, Lage 9, and Hanto manage to corner the mysterious man in black robe. Hanto removes the mysterious man's robe @ 17:24... Aaaaannnnnddddd, he's revealed to be Kenzou's mere reanimated dead body, which means that my hypothesis a long long looooong time ago in my posts in episode 22 thread here and in episode 23 thread here where I hypothesized that the cells from Kenzou's dead body would be claimed by Nyelv to be repurposed/recombined with other experimental cells in an experiment to create an unknown product is finally proven to be quite correct. He's basically just Nyelv's mindless zombie puppet now. His body is repurposed/recombined with the poor Granute's dead body by Nyelv. Like I elaborated earlier, the dead Granute is said by Bocca to having had possessed a very very very plot-convenient ability to hypnotize/control people, so Bocca orders Nyelv in the scene @ 07:41 to combine it with a human's body (Kenzou's) to control humans in order to transform the entire human world into a planet-scale Hito Press farm like he envisioned earlier in the scene @ 00:30. Gosh, this hypnotism/mind-control power is just sooooooooooooooooooooooo pathetically, awfully convenient for the plot! First the writers gave the awfully plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin power to Lage 9 to advance his plot much faster, then they made Lango Mango copy it in episodes 35-36 and give it to Bocca, and now they gave Bocca yet another equally awful plot-convenience by giving him a Granute with hypnotism/mind-control power. Oh, and not to mention Kenzou's cloning ability that created the entirety of the Dark Shoumas' subplot. The sheer, brazen, shameless laziness of the writers of this atrocious story really really really knows no bounds, haha. ![]() ![]() ![]() In the scene @ 18:43, Shouma angrily asks Nyelv what the heck he's scheming. Like I've elaborated since my post in episode 35 thread here, I see an 80-90% probability that the answer could be delivered by the RG's since they're the writers' favorite tools of information manipulation, haha. ![]() Kenzoumbie ( ![]() ![]() Next week: Hanto is having an angel-vs-demon inner conflict while being hypnotized/mind-controlled by Kenzoumbie, so it could be him who kill Kenzoumbie and send him to hell for good, haha. ![]() Lango Mango appears again after he briefly returned at the end of episode 40, albeit totally vanishes in episode 41. What kind of contribution would he give to the story? It seems like he's only watching things unfold from the sidelines. It seems like he's making his own calculation before taking back the Stomach corporation from Bocca. The debut of Nyelv's full Granute form, which could also be the episode of his defeat and or death. It'd be hilarious if both Nyelv and Kenzoumbie are finally destroyed in this very same episode, haha. ![]() Mmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyybbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeeeee... So, Bocca finally decided that cattle breeding was better than hunting. And instead of invading the army, he decided to take over the human world with Granute, who had the ability to subjugate. And Nyelv decided to have a blast and created a mad scientist's dream: a Frankenstein monster from a man and Granute, and even made him a rider. It's amazing that Suga was alive off-screen all this time, and died only recently. But, as Nyelv said, he dreamed of creating the strongest life form and would be glad to sacrifice his life to get it. In addition, this cookie rider is clearly stronger than Jeebh and can withstand the entire trio in their strongest forms. And his cheat ability will create a lot of problems, especially for poor Valen.
We also learned that Nyelv himself is quite weak Granute, which explains his behavior. He knows that he is valued for his intelligence, but as an independent unit he is not capable of anything. Therefore, Nyelv always tries to please the strongest, while simultaneously using the received freedom in his own interests. Another interesting thing: Hanto found Shouma's uncle and it turned out to be exactly the one we expected.Honestly, this storyline seems too drawn out to me, but nothing critical. I wonder when Hanto will reveal the truth and how the family reunion will happen. If it happens. And Jeebh is falling deeper and deeper into the abyss of despair and nothing good awaits him in the future. It seems to me that in the end he will even give up revenge, completely disappointed in himself, and then Liesel will leave him to deal the final blow. Although, perhaps, external circumstances will hit them earlier. P.S. The preview promises Lango's intervention. There are too many suspicious characters in hooded robes for hot summer days in this show. P.P.S. It's really nice that the show, even at such a late stage, doesn't forget to remind us about the importance of a balanced diet. Last edited by Mesnick; 06-29-2025 at 05:52 AM.. |

Next episode can’t be good. I fear Shoma’s uncle Masaru will probably reject him. Even if I have to skip out on the rest of the season if something goes south.

The triple Rider henshin.
The identity of the "Candy Shop Owner" has finally been revealed as Masaru Inoue. A significant revelation in this episode is that Michiru is Masaru's younger sister. Masaru describes her as a snack lover, which ties into how Shoma got into it. Michiru is said to have disappeared after a class, implying that Bouche may have kidnapped and r*ped her in order to produce a human child, though Bouche introduced her as his new wife to the siblings. Hanto is now conflicted about revealing a secret to Shoma, as Shoma claims he's scared when Hanto wants to look after Michiru's info. Hanto already knew about how Shoma revealed how Sae died to him, so it should be just the same as what Shoma did to him, which shows his development from being tight-lipped to becoming more open. It also reveals that Masaru isn’t just a friend of Shoma; he is actually a paternal uncle. While it's expected that Sachika would care about a human being harmed—like the one hypnotized to bite a rock—I'm curious about what Shoma and Rakia meant when they referred to her as a lifesaver for carrying that human to the hospital, given that they seemed capable of doing that themselves. Additionally, Bocca appears to be more introspective than at least Lizel when it comes to his grand plan. However, he harbors a sinister objective to turn the human world into a farm, indicating that the monsters now aspire to rule the human world, like previous examples. Suga has returned, but not as himself—he appears as a zombie due to Nyelv, who claims that Suga allowed him to experiment on his body. Nyelv’s tone seems disrespectful toward Suga though, as he expresses gladness about having an obedient puppet, despite previously acknowledging Suga as a friend. Nyelv’s disdain for Glotta is evident as well; he shows no sympathy for her death, stating that she got what was coming to her. Jeebh seems to be reflecting on his actions, confiding in Lizel about whether what he did was right. He sought revenge for Shita but has now inadvertently caused the deaths of Lango and Glotta. He feels he can’t honor Shita due to his Black Gavv. I wonder if Jeebh will undergo positive development, from just blaming Shoma all the time. Lizel seems to console him by saying that Lango and Glotta got what they deserved, though she plays with his Black Gavv afterwards. I wonder if Nyelv deliberately limited Jeebh's strength compared to Suga, who Valen points out is significantly stronger and seems capable of standing up to Master Gavv, unlike Magen before. The hypnosis now affects Valen, causing him to attack the other 2 Rider, but I don’t believe it poses a serious problem. Master Gavv is significantly stronger and is supported by Vram A La Mode, so they should be able to subdue Valen relatively easily, though his hypnotized state might still prove to be an inconvenience, much like with the other hypnotized humans.

I mean, after all the innocent and repentant people Glotta killed and promptly forgotten about, I'm inclined to agree with Nyelve.

This episode had less crazy revelations, and more just confirmed the more prominent theories going on, notably that candy man is, in fact, related to Shouma.
We also learned that Suga clung onto life a little longer than we thought, but not very much, as he's very much a zombie-hybrid now with another Granute. This technology also means that Lakia better watch his back, since if they can kill him and use his corpse as a puppet for this feel good toxins, it'd be a massive boon to the Stomachs. Speaking of, Jeep has finally realized he basically destroyed his own family. Lizel then brushes Jeep's black Gavv. President Bocca also wants to use Earth as a cattle farm for spices now, rather than picking off humans one by one. It also seems he'll be making a play in the upcoming episode, so we'll finally get to see what he's made of.

1) Hanto tells Shouma about his uncle and this is overheard by a desperate Jeebh or such an inconspicuous in his robe Lango, who kills Masaru. 2) Hanto decides not to rush to reveal the truth, Masaru becomes an accidental victim and Hanto finds himself in Shouma's place, who remembering the death of Hanto`s mother Sae. However, I would prefer that these predictions do not come true and the heroes of the show do not lose loved ones anymore. Last edited by Mesnick; 06-29-2025 at 09:16 AM.. |

I also think that Masaru will accept Shouma, even though he will be very upset by the news of his sister's death. Judging by his reaction in the conversation with Hanto, he hopes that Michiru is alive. But I also see the possibility of Masaru's death as an additional tragedy and the final test for Shouma. I am not sure that the scriptwriters will go down this path (and I will be very happy if they do not), but I see two possible options:
1) Hanto tells Shouma about his uncle and this is overheard by a desperate Jeebh or such an inconspicuous in his robe Lango, who kills Masaru. 2) Hanto decides not to rush to reveal the truth, Masaru becomes an accidental victim and Hanto finds himself in Shouma's place, who remembering the death of Hanto`s mother Sae. However, I would prefer that these predictions do not come true and the heroes of the show do not lose loved ones anymore. Shoma wakes up in his home and finds his mother's picture. The both can talk about what Michiru was like and how Shoma was so alone. Hopefully Masaru will help him, even take some of Dente's stuff with Sachika's help. He needs to be debriefed with everything and be supportive to his nephew! |

![]() Sort of surprising to see the first proper instance of everyone transforming together happen in a relatively casual fashion after all this time? This show has always had one Rider or another be off doing something else so consistently I assumed it must've been a conscious choice, but if it was, I figured a moment like this would've finally happened at the climax of a two-parter or something? You know, like the Riders in this series already stomp all over the bad guys alone or in pairs so much, the visual of all three lined up and ready with their belts in of itself would be like a sign that whoever they were up against doesn't stand a chance. Although to be fair, there's sort of still shades of what I'm talking about, even though this is a fight the heroes don't get to win just yet? Ordinarily, I'd also complain about them not leading off with their base forms, too, for one thing, and yet, especially coming off of the previous episode, and how those power-up forms represent the mutual growth of those characters, going for the exact opposite again seems like another conscious choice, and one that maybe sorta tells you something about where these people are at by this point. They just kinda get more and more united the longer the show goes, you know? So of course, staying true to that logic, even though the latest Bitter Gavv is already a tough cookie in a straightforward fight, the real reason things end up going wrong has much more to do with how he has the ability to upset that unity by brainwashing Valen, looping things right back around to that idea that no villain could possibly hope to ever beat these guys without first making sure they don't have to take them all on at the same time. Or at least, it's a risk any self-respecting brainy evil scientist would be smart enough to avoid taking, given the chance. It's like even when Gavv does something in a way that's not quite what I was hoping for, it just makes enough sense that I still can't dislike it? And besides, outside of that one thing, this pretty much *is* an episode that's everything I could hope for? I love that the whole concept of that fight scene is that the heroes need to avoid Bitter Gavv's deadly sound effects, and think Shibasaki's touch as director made it even more of a joy to watch. Drama-wise, it's another one where a lot of little but significant movement happens for multiple plot threads, all of which is very intriguing, even when it's a twist most people have no doubt seen coming for a while. One thing I personally wouldn't have called ahead of time was Zombie Suga being the threat for a two-parter, but especially with the way this all affects Hanto being a focus, I'm suddenly pretty excited about the idea of a little addendum to that particular thread. It's another decision I probably wouldn't have made, but that's also the whole reason these things are exciting, right?
