... are the bonus features really worth the extra cost? I mean, I remember liking Zedd's Monster Heads (that was the one with the Halloween type party, right?), but I just do not know if the set is really worth $220. Should I just watch them on Netflix instead? Should I wait for Time Life to put the set on sale? I just do not know how often I would end up rewatching these.

They're pretty good--the retrospective features on the show and the stunt team were really interesting and there were a whole lot of bonus stuff from the archives I'd completely forgotten about (the Zeo mini-sodes and the special with Johnny Yong Bosch from the In Space/Turbo era, I guess?) that are included . . .I've been very pleased with the bonuses, even if watching several dozen episodes at once can be a little grinding. I felt like it was worth the $220 (dinky Red Ranger figure notwithstanding) but it depends on how much you want to own all that stuff vs. waiting for Shout Factory rolling them out at retail. |

Well, I don't recommend trying to blow through them all in a weekend or anything, as it'll burn you out pretty quickly, but I've parceled my re-watches out a little and revisited episodes I wanted to see or never got to see and It's gotten quite a bit of play.

See, that is where I differ. I prefer to blow through a series as quick as possible. I watched all of W in 3 days, OOO ended up taking a week, and Fourze took a week only because the last episode had not aired yet so I could not watch as much as I would have liked in one sitting. I mean, it took me a little over a month to get through all 508 episodes of The Simpsons this summer (started June 27th and finished on Aug 1st).

You think yu can watch this set over a weekend? You can watch about 1/3rd of this box set over a weekend if you don't sleep. It's 343 episodes. Assuming it's one episode every half an hour, that's 96 episodes over 48 hrs.

No, I just mean in general. I could definitely get through the first season in less than a week if I wanted to.

So I saw Volume 1 at Walmart today and decided to pick it up. I'm going to use this volume to determine if I really want the full sets or not.

15$ for a single volume is much more manageable then 220$ all at once, IMO.
