It's not confirmed that the cards will be used like keys. It's a very reasonable assumption. You could very well be right, but there WILL be ranger keys to some extent. we've even seen them in pictures. We know they will be there, in season two, both from Fury Diamond's sources and the picture.

The trailer with Gokai-Oh wasn't publicly released before, from what I recall. Plus it's just an announcement of an official website involved in Megaforce launching their Megaforce site.
