My favorites are Desghidorah, the original Mecha Godzilla and Biollante, just to name a few.

Monsters like Ghidorah and Mothra, that are such a departure from the humanoid/man in a suit look that a lot of later monsters had. The way these designs were brought to life back in the 60's was nothing short of amazing. I have a lot of admiration for Mr. Tsuburaya.

But if giant robots don't count as true Kaiju then I'll hafta go with Destroyah, he just looks so damn evil!

Gigan. I love the Millennium and Showa designs equally.
Desghidorah. Second place in the three headed monster breed goes to Cretaceous King Ghidorah.
Mechagodzilla. I can't decide between Kiryu and the Heisei version.

I'd like to mention my least favorite kaiju design: Dagahra. Looks like a wannabe Ghidorah, with the powers and personality of a Captain Planet villain.

Believe it or not, the original Godzilla suit, from Gojira, is my favorite version of the monster. It hits a balance between slim and bulky that I don't think any redesign ever quite hit.

And while everyone else gives well-deserved props to Final Wars Gigan, I need to give a shout-out to my boy Rodan. His look in that film was great, and I'd love to see it recolored to be match his Showa appearance and star in his own movie again.

Also, major shouts out to Titanosaurus and the Showa Mechagodzilla. Titano is just amazing in his simplicity and the Showa MG has an awesome patchwork machine look to him that I love.

Gigan - I love the Millennium version more, but the Showa one is amazing too.
Battra - Like Mothra, but more badass
Mechagodzilla - Showa version ftw
Megalon - Film isn't great, but what's not to love about a hopping beetle with drills for hands?
