Play Imaginative has announced a new line of Super Alloy Pacific Rim Figures. For right now, they've only teased the banner and a release for 2014. So no word on if they will be available in their 1/6 or 1/12 scales (or both). We'll have more info as it becomes available.

Even if these end up looking good (which their DC figures did not) these are going to be horribly overpriced. So pass.

Really fucking dissapointed by how Pacific Rim's toys have been handled, and this is no better. Super Alloy, from everything I've seen, sucks. Their figures are not that articulated, they rarely look that good (I think their Batman was okay) and they're the very deffinition of over-priced.
It still pisses me off Bandai has not picked up this license because they want to do Aliens and Predators. Last edited by SPLIT LIP; 11-05-2013 at 11:16 AM.. |

They're horribly overpriced AND QC nightmares. Never handled a single one that didn't have a significant problem or didn't break pretty easily.

So once again the universe doesn't give Pacific Rim the fair chance it deserves.

BUT we have the 18 inch version of Gipsy coming. So soon, in fact, we finally have in-package pics. Howsabout you frontpage that for some good Pacific Rim news? ![]() Now it's only a matter of time before we see Knifehead painted. |

But yeah, they throw so much die-cast into their stuff, that it really jacks up the price. They will never throat the almighty House Queen that is Hot Toys.

Oh yeah, I heard they like to smack-talk, too?
Whatever, I'm just happy 18 inch Gipsy's coming. Hopefully if Knifehead does as well as it basically already has, we'll get an 18 inch Striker. |
