With Megaforce returning in Super Megaforce, and the past Rangers returning for one last hurrah against the Evil Forces of the Universe, I thought it would be a good time to talk about what season from the past was your absolute favorite. Which was your first, is your first your favorite, what brings you back to Power Rangers, what would you like to see done differently?
Just remember to keep it friendly ![]() And for those younger members who don't remember each and every season, or those older ones who need the reminder, here's the official list I'm using. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Seasons 1-3) Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers Power Rangers Zeo Power Rangers Turbo Power Rangers In Space Power Rangers Lost Galaxy Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue Power Rangers Time Force Power Rangers Wild Force Power Rangers Ninja Storm Power Rangers Dino Thunder Power Rangers SPD Power Rangers Mystic Force Power Rangers Operation Overdrive Power Rangers Jungle Fury Power Rangers RPM Power Rangers Samurai (Seasons 1-2) Power Rangers Megaforce So which one makes you look back on your childhood and thing "Yea, they was Epic"? My first season was the first season. I remember it to because MMPR started on or about my Birthday when I turned 13. And I've loved it (off and on) ever since. But the original season, as great as it was, wasn't my favorite. My favorite comes down to two Disney owned seasons. Mystic Force and Dino Thunder. Mystic Force was near perfection and Dino Thunder brought back Tommy. But if you twist my arm and have to make me choose I think I'd choose Dino Thunder. It had great team-up episodes with SPD and Ninja Storm. Brought back Tommy. Had an amazing cast with great episodes and writing. It had everything. Including an excellent Battilzer.

My first experience and thus season watched was Lost Galaxy. My mother fought me long and hard as a kid as she didn't want me watching it. She was scared it would make me act out violently (joke is on her, I don't act out violently, just watch violent stuff). As I kid I loved the show and immediately began buying up the toys, and even on my own reenacted some of the stunts from the show in my living room (like when Leo spin in the air before slamming down to the ground).
My mom was big on taping television shows for herself, my dad, and me, so very quickly did we fill up a tape with Power Rangers. This along with the power playbacks is how I would see In Space and MMPR. That, as well as being given the MMPR movie, Turbo movie, In Space Psycho Rangers Tape, and a few MMPR episode tapes helped that even more. Starting with Lightspeed though is when my mom would tape about every episode of it shown. I still have these (along with my other ripped from TV tapes), giving me an almost full season set of Lightspeed. We would repeat the process with Time Force and Ninja Storm. I watched Power Rangers season to season from Lost Galaxy to Mystic Force, with seeing In Space and season 1 of MMPR later (I still have never seen MMPR S2, MMPR S3, MMAR, Zeo and Turbo). I guess I was just bored with it after Mystic Force. I had a growing up moment of time to where I just stopped watching. I still rewatch my old tapes though whenever I need my fix of PR or nostalgic commercials. I saw a few episodes of Samurai, but didn't get into it. I saw the first episode of Megaforce, and dropped the show there after. Now a days, I don't really care for Power Rangers as much considering I've now seen the Sentai and would rather watch that then PR. I still like the show, but I just prefer the originals. Though I do consider some PR seasons better then Sentai (at the moment, only In Space is the series I will proclaim as being better then the Sentai). My favorite season is Lightspeed Rescue. It's the season in which I fully became a fan of the show and went gaga with the toys. My least favorite of what I have seen is probably SPD.

My first was the first season. It was great.
Well...Great is an overstatement. More like...Entertaining. Yeah, let's go with that. I can't in good faith call MMPR great. Makes me feel unclean. I still had fun watching it, no doubt, though. I watched Power Rangers consistently from MMPR S1 all the way to Mystic Force. Operation Overdrive was just too grating to sit through in it's entirety, and Jungle Fury I had a hard time actually catching, so when RPM came around, I had resigned to just not bothering since the air schedule was impossible to follow and constantly preempted for every little random piece of shit sports game to air that day (Since RPM aired when most networks started effectively phasing out the Saturday morning block). For a favorite, it's, hands down, Time Force. It's one of the few PR seasons to still hold up today, with competent acting (Even forgettable characters like Lucas are still played by decent actors), a good villain, and an amazing story that doesn't treat it's audiences like they can't operate a safety cap. It was handled so well it makes me surprised when I remember that Time Force was a Saban season. However, I would be remiss if I didn't make special note of Turbo. Despite being widely reviled and hailed as "2nd Lowest Point in PR history," it's heartbreaking to know that not many (If any) are even willing to give it the time of day to see if it's as bad as they're told it was. I'm not blind to it's flaws, but it's really not as bad as a lot remember (Most especially since many don't even remember what happened beyond the damn pizza).

I'm just about to finish RPM. And it will be the first season I've ever watched in its entirety. I know I must've missed episodes of MMPR - Lost Galaxy because I didn't really watch those religiously.
RPM is my current bias/favorite. I've seen bits and pieces of every season, and they're just not as good. Or in the case of MMPR(without nostalgia factor) a lot worse than I remember. I'm sure I might be able to watch it if I'm ever able to get over the excessive wooshing. I loved Go-Onger, and RPM is a completely different beast. In fact, RPM has made me want to go back and get some Go-Onger merch, because the RPM toys just aren't going to cut it.

My first was the first, and I followed it religiously up until about Turbo. Kinda sad I missed out on In Space's original run, but Lost Galaxy was awful so I don't feel I lost out stopping where I did.
Favourite should be obvious ![]() Its nice to have finally seen everything at long last though.
